April 6, 2016: VideoStitch announced Orah 4i, a prosumer quality 360 video camera that records and streams in 4k.
VideoStitch makes the VideoStitch Studio, a post-production 360 video stitching software, and Vahana VR, live 360 video streaming software. It’s only natural that they would have their hands in the development of hardware seemingly built for their software suite.
The Orah 4i sits between other live streaming capable products like the portable consumer quality Ricoh Theta ($350) and the high-end professional Nokia’s Ozo ($60,000). At a pre-order launch price of $1,795.00 (MSRP $3,595), high quality 360 video streaming just got a little more affordable.
